the list of members, friends, is the best we could collate from various seniority lists that we could lay our hands on. it is neither complete, nor correct, nor authenticated, nor certified by any authority, so feel free to find your name at some odd place. feel free also to write back to us and we assure you that we too are free to make or not make a change suggested by you; if we do make a change, that would be at our free will.
ladies may not like to forgive us [ or what can we do if they are bent on forgiving?] for disclosing their age. we have only given the dob which is an integral part of any seniority list. but we have been warned by some benign ladies that it discloses their age also. we tried and found that it is really true sometimes. if that happens in your case, take it as a coincidence.
people will keep retiring at 60 [though we keep on hearing of 'the age of superannuation' being raised by 2 long, boring, years] and in some cases, the almightly would call them for emergency duty. we hear that since india's mortality rate has come down over decades, there is greater shortage in the heavens and the hell than in the iis. so we cannot blame him [or is it she/her?] for calling us back before our deputation to the earth is over. from the short point of managing the members' list, if either of the two things happens we won't be able to instantly make changes in the list and we won't feel particularly sorry for that.
you might like to react to what we said above, but do not. not many members are likely to read that. if someone reads, the chances of his/her acknowledging are much less. that is what our experience tells us. we thank all for the aloofness which the iis so well deserves.
